Code of Ethics Training - Information and Resources

REALTORS® Required to Complete Ethics Training for Second Cycle -- **Deadline December 31, 2008**

Between January 1, 2005 and December 31, 2008, every REALTOR® is required to complete 2 1/2 hours of Code of Ethics training. REALTORS® who have completed this training as a requirement of membership in another association are not required to complete additional ethics training until the next four year cycle. Failure to comply with this required ethics training is a violation of a membership duty for which the member’s primary association will suspend membership until the training is complete.

There are three, free online ethics courses avaliable for members.  Each meets the specific criteria and learning objectives for new or existing REALTORS®, and completing the course online automatically updates members' NRDS records. Please visit www.realtor.org/coetraining(This information all comes from the www.realtor.org web site. Italics added.)

MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE: DECEMBER 31, 2008. If you are uncertain if you have completed this training please check by using your NRDS/National REALTOR® number on www.realtor.org to look it up.  You may also call us and we may look it up for you.

**Please do not get caught in the end of the year crunch!! Suspension must be carried out unless this course is completed by December 31, 2008.  That is the mandate set by the National Association of REALORS®.  Thank you and good luck!
